Development Associate

Minds Matter seeks a passionate, organized, and driven Development Associate to join the team. The Development Associate will play a critical role in expanding our base of support as Minds Matter Boston continues to scale in size and impact, with the goal of making college dreams a reality for local students.

The Development Associate will support fundraising, communications, and operations. Specifically, this role will assist in the planning and execution of fundraising events, lead donor data management and gift processing, support donor cultivation and prospect research, manage communications projects, and oversee social media strategy.

This position is a unique opportunity to work with a small team making a large impact in the nonprofit sector. This position will report to the Director of Development and collaborate with all members of the Minds Matter Boston team, the Associate Board, the Board of Directors, and a corps of community volunteers.

This position will work Monday-Friday with traditional work hours. This position is a hybrid (in-person and virtual) position.

Associate Director of College Access

The Associate Director of College Access is a critical member of the leadership team who is responsible for leading our three year, intensive college preparation program for over 150 high school students. This is an extraordinary opportunity for a passionate leader to grow and further develop a proven program.

The Associate Director reports to the Director of Programs (DoP). This is a highly collaborative position that works with stakeholders throughout the organization, including all Minds Matter Boston staff members, the volunteer corps, the student body, and school, and CBO partners.

The Associate Director should be available to begin work by June 15. This position has regular work days from Tuesday to Saturday during the school year, with occasional evening meetings. This position is a hybrid (in-person and virtual) position.
